As a plus, you as a client will always have direct access to our CEO, Joseph Sylvan, who plays an active roll on all projects to ensure the quality of work remains high and client expectations are exceeded.

Joseph holds a Bachelors of Interior Design degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and a Masters in Community Development from Prairie View A&M University. With over 17 years experience in the office furniture industry, Joseph has a solid and insightful understanding of the issues surrounding your office design, refurbishment, and relocation needs. During his career, Joseph worked as a designer, project manager, and sales representative and has built a close working relationship with the best contractors and the most innovative manufactures and suppliers of office furniture and equipment. Consequently, he can bring all this knowledge and experience to bear on your next project.

Under Joseph's clear leadership, ODC's strength is the professional team of project managers, supervisors, team leaders, office systems installation technicians, furniture delivery personnel, painters, carpet installers, and electricians  Some members of the team possess more than 18 years of experience in the office furniture industry.

1. Certified by the Port of Houston Authority (PHA) to participate in the authority's Small Business Development Program (SBDP) allowing contracting and procurement at the PHA and within the local business community.

2. Certified by  the City of Houston as a Minority Business Enterprise. Only firms certified by the City of Houston can be used to satisfy the respective goal requirements.

3. Certified by the Houston Minority Supplier Development Council (HMSDC) as a Minority Business Enterprise.  Certification is recognized and honored nationwide.

4. Certified as a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB). The statewide HUB Program facilitates the use of HUBs in state procurement and provides information on the state's procurement process to minority and women-owned businesses.
